USA World Cup Group

USA's World Cup Group couldn't have gotten much better. Shaq had the first draw with Australia. Aaron Judge had the 2nd pick with Paraguay. And Curaçao was picked 3rd by Wayne Gretzky. So the group will be USA, Paraguay, Australia, and the winner of a European playoff between Turkey, Slovakia, Kosovo, and Romania. The first game will be against Paraguay, a rematch of the match that finished in a benches clearing brawl that I wrote about a few weeks ago. If USA wasn't motivated enough for their home World Cup debut, playing against a team they just got in a fight with should do the trick. None of the countries in this group are soccer powerhouses, with it being an after thought in Australia. USA just beat Paraguay 2-1 without Pulisic so they aren't mad about seeing them in their draw either. And the four teams in the playoff are all in the playoff for a reason, but Turkey is probably the strongest, led by Real Madrid player Arda Guler. USA should be pretty big favorites to come out of their group and honestly have a chance to go undefeated, or at least keep the L column at 0.
