Euroleague round 23

This week is a double header for Euroleague but "one game at a time" is what we're going with. Panathinaikos, Madrid, and Monaco (my 3 favorite teams) are all playing on Tuesday and all have games they should win. Madrid is coming off the El Clasico dub, where Trey Lyles might've been the first Indiana player ever to win an El Clasico game, but they still need to further progress themselves into safer playoff territory. They have the toughest game of the three though, playing a Milano team who's been crazy hot lately. Armoni Brooks is playing like a prime Aaron Brooks. Madrid and Milan are two pretty even teams and Milan has been able to pull off some tough wins including beating Panathinaikos.
Monaco is sitting comfortable as the 2 seed and have won 6? games in a row, but want to continue their rhythm and cement themselves as a true threat. They've been building consistency which had been their Achilles heel the past few years and there hasn't been much noise out of that side lately. Just buckets. I remember "Real G's move in silence like lasagna" and then I think how Monaco been moving and I realize they might be the real deal. "Leader of the pack stays in the back". And by real deal I mean 2026 Champs. Tomorrow getting revenge from earlier in the season against Crvena Zvezda is a good way to continue taking care of business.
Panathinaikos, as has been talked about, is in need of a win badly. They've slipped down to 7 in the standings and have lost 4 of their last 5 Euroleague games. Kendrick Nunn was out last game which doesn't make things any easier, but is expected to be back Tuesday. But it shouldn't all fall on Kendrick Nunn and it is time to get more out of TJ Shorts. Hernangomez also needs to step up and show that he is still a valuable piece in that league. They have the roster it's just time to get it going. So they have the biggest edge out of all 3 teams, and play Baskonia who they should beat. And at home. If they don't come to play, gate 13 will make sure they find a way to pull this out considering they're current standing.
