USA Footy Struck by Lightning

2 games ago for USA finished with a benches clearing brawl vs Paraguay. It started over who's ball it was, and a player from both teams picked up the ball, wouldn't let go, and it ran into the benches all getting involved too. Some serious playground fight during a professional, international FIFA match. You have to love to see it.

And then following that, Maybe the most electric 45 minutes of footy I've ever watched. It is seriously up there with the Argentina France World Cup final, and instead it was USA, without Pulisic, and Uruguay. It wasn't just the fact there were 5 goals but it was how these goals were coming. It started with Berhalter doing a give and go off a free kick, and then bending it like Beckham into the top right corner for his first international goal. Then naybe 5 minutes later we get a Ronaldo esque header off a Berhalter corner, not even close to being stopped. Diego Luna, the most unassuming player joined the scoring with an outside foot goal later on in the first half. After that you think okay this is ridiculous this isn't USA vs Uruguay this is Spain vs Portugal, it can't continue at this rate. Yup, bicycle kick goal for Uruguay. Not a shank, a fuckin rip. You could watch every match the past 20 years of USA footy and wouldn't see a spectacle of this sort against a decent team.

Lightning struck this USA team, and it might've been the fight that brought out a whole new fight in our team. This is like the opposite of the Malice and the Palace, they get in a fight and got even better. Before the World Cup next year hennything is possible.
