More Messi, Less Messy for Miami

Going into the game Messi had never won at FC Cincy. But it turns out this dude Messi is a really good soccer player. Did anyone know that or did I just discover this guy? Messi is 38 years old and to has mastered the game of soccer. He had already been the greatest but now the craft is mastered, He is like Lebron or Chris Paul in the way that he can just get old man buckets out there, and set his teammates up, until the day he dies. He may not be the youngest or the fastest but how he has mastered seemingly every skill in the game is just about as impressive as how good he was in his prime. When he got a header yesterday he wasn't going to miss, no chance. He struck it perfectly off the correct side of his head and ran through it like it was the most obvious goal of all time. For him, it seemed like it. And some of the passes he was making? GOOD GOD. He could've ended up with 3 goals and 5 assists yesterday. Not even kidding. Not an exaggeration. He should've had 3 goals 5 assists, not just could have, he should have. He missed 2 goals that were just 1 on 1 with the goalie, goals he will make 98% of the time. And there with 2 more assist opportunities off perfect balls that his teammates misplayed or missed the shot. But let's talk about the ones they did connect on, not missed.

The first goal was the Messi header. Easy. No problem. Give and go and he sprinted in past everyone for the cross that went right to him for a header. Next early in the 2nd half Messi intercepted a pass down by his opponents goal and easily dropped it off for a Silvetti goal. Now the fun. A few minutes later, Messi squeezes a through ball through 3 guys right to a sprinting Allende for a 1 on 1 goal opporunity. It was like a bounce pass, no flare, no spin, just the most precise spot of all time, meeting Allende perfectly in stride for an easy goal. 3-0 Miami. Again 10 minutes later, Miami has the lead comfortably. Messi thinks let's put an exclamation on this. Pull up for the 3? No, spin move alley oop. Right between 2 Cincinnati defenders he kicks with the outside of his foot, spinning the ball perfectly through both defenders and again to Allende perfectly in stride. This time still a bounce pass, but spun it right through the two defenders, putting some "english" on that pass.

He is a joke, he is a freak. 38 years old, should have had 3 goals 5 assists. But as I write this, it is Lionel Messi (the GOAT) playing against a team from Cincinnati, Ohio. How could anyone expect different? Even the commentators were saying they were shocked Miami would win 4-0 vs Cincy FC. Bro its the greatest ever vs Cincy, how did we not think they were going to win. The domination is unreal to see, and we are cherishing watching this man kick the footy around while he still plays.

Miami faced little pressure here and easily went on to win 4-0
